"The great thing about travelling the world is that you get to really appreciate what we have back here. We are a country that has always punched above its weight. We do have a way of doing things that is different."Ian talks to PPTA members at their 2004 conference.

"Secondary futures is about taking stock. It's not about fixing the problems of today it's about examining the future, it's about asking the hard questions of what the future may be like, it's about asking what will New Zealand's role be in that future and it's about asking how will our kids need to be equipped to meet the future and how can we best equip them?"Ian addresses New School Managers, Auckland Ministry of Education.
